Mälarpaviljongen sought a logo for their event series "Tucked Stockholm," inspired by drag performance culture. The resulting playful yet delicate text-based design with pink glitter captured the essence of sparkle. A unique version was crafted for Stockholm PRIDE, featuring a rainbow glitter fade. This logo adorned event graphics, including posters and social media visuals, showcasing the brand's identity and inviting further exploration.
A good logo is one of the easiest ways to create a memorable brand. Mälarpaviljongen wanted a logo for an event series concept called “Tucked Stockholm.” Tucked came from the term tucking, which some drag artist performers do as part of their costumes. The event manager mentioned that the design should be playful, delicate, and emulate sparkle.
This design was text-based, meaning the search for this playful yet delicate typeface was the first aspect to search through. After trying a handful of fonts we landed on the current font Memoriam Pro Headline Regular. From here it was about editing the outlined version and adding an embossed “Stockholm” below.
A special version of the Tucked logo was created for Stockholm PRIDE which featured a rainbow fade of glitter. Our design was then used on four event graphics which included posters and social media graphics for posts and stories.
